And he dumped Adam Fox from PP1. He put Zach Wierenski up there and look what happened in the third period. You know, from what I saw, like in the building, you could feel like Finland played a really good first two periods, right? And then what happened in the third period was the United States skill just took over.
And I think the biggest part of that skill taking over was Kachuk, Eichel, and Kachuk being out there together and just dominating the game completely. Um, Really specifically those two, like Eichel was a bit of a guy that I was just kind of like, where is he on the ice right now? But the Kachuks absolutely dominated the game.
You know, you see that shot from Matthew and then that move from Brady was absolutely filthy. That was awesome. And you mentioned Walt. Every time his kids scored, they showed Walt on the board in the arena, which I thought was a really nice touch. Put him in the Hall of Fame, please.

It's going to be something really special. Like I already told people last night was one of the coolest sporting events I've ever been to. I can already tell that barring the U.S.
getting absolutely thrashed and me being miserable in Central Bell on Saturday night, this is going to be like a top five sporting event.
Oh, here we go again with the complaining about being on the ice after the Stanley Cup final.

You should have to use your stick. Yeah, it's not soccer. You should have to use your stick to push the puck. I'm not saying you should try to, but I'm saying it shouldn't be illegal.
Here's my question. In soccer, if you score an own goal, you get credited for a goal. Why don't they do that in hockey?
No, but on the stat column, it comes up like Carter Verhage in one of the Rangers games last year. He shot the puck and it went in off a stick. He got credited for the goal. That's not how it should be. Carter Verhage should not get credit for that goal. The defender should be credited for an own goal. That's not how it works, though. In soccer, it works that way.
Yeah. The visor is right there, too. That's so dangerous.
It could get sliced even worse.

Okay. But you can't, like, my hot take is Barkov and Reinhardt should share the selfie. Oh, boy.
If they tie, what happens? It's a first-place tiebreaker.
I feel like I should know the answer. I guess my take here is that Reinhardt should really win the Selkie, but he's not going to because Barkov is on his line, and Barkov is just going to win the Selkie.
Definitely, but he only missed really like a week or two at the beginning of the season. I just think the work that Reinhardt does defensively goes so far under the radar because he plays next to the guy that everybody agrees is the best defensive forward in the league right now. And now that Patrice Bergeron is out of the league, Barkov can finally start winning the Selkie every year.
But I just think my hot take would be both those guys give it to him.
The play he made on the game-winning goal last night where he's just got a guy up against the boards and just shoves him off and gets the puck right into the middle for Reinhardt to set up.
