I'm curious if you have any examples that come to mind.
But I feel like in supply chain, we see that a ton.
It's like, oh, I needed XYZ.
I'm 10 times bigger.
I'll just go buy more.
It's like, there might not be 10 times that on the entire planet right now.
Yeah.
It's outside mission critical.
But I think I remember Warren Buffett one day talking about how hard it was getting for Berkshire Hathaway to place investments because they needed to place such large investments to move the needle on growth at that scale.
That if they bought into a business or bought into a market, it just tipped the balance, especially with other investors rushing in to copy paste or bail out.
It's like, how do we even place money?
I feel like it's the same on the supply side with a lot of these, the OEMs and the equipment guys, right?
You can call them with an order that you think is like this amazing takedown of two years of their production line.
And their response, pardon my French, is like, holy shit, I don't think I can commit two years of my production line to one customer.
Well, the smart ones say that.
I think the last factor, kind of the key failure modes we see is just the pace.
And we joke about this all the time.
It's a running joke with me and Scott.
