He was for a closed border.

The Democrats were a lot more normal back then.

And over time, you know, I ended up getting disillusioned with the establishment wing of the party.

In 2017, and that's how I found the Bernie Sanders movement.

And I thought that they had all the answers.

And then in 2020, things got even more insane.

I ended up working with a criminal justice reform PAC.

You guys have probably heard of this guy.

His name is Sean King.

And that's when I started to feel very uneasy about the things that I was seeing and the things that I was hearing behind the scenes.

And by 2021, it all kind of hit me what the far left was actually about.

And in 2022, I had a baby boy.

He's four years old now.

And I think he made me a little bit more conservative, too, to be honest with you.

Um, becoming a mother kind of reframed some of my political beliefs.

And then I kind of stayed out of politics for a few years after that, um, just focused on being a mom.

And then in 2024, I did go to the democratic national convention.

I was kind of interested, intrigued just because of the whole Joe Biden debacle debate.

Um, I was hoping that maybe the Democrats would remake themselves, that there would be some sort of open convention, um,

And instead, when I got there, I just saw the coronation of Kamala Harris.
