So COVID and now we're going through the first real major economic shock that most of us of our generation have ever experienced.

We're going to have a different view.

So, that gets back to the box, right?

So, it'll also therefore mean, you know, you can go even granular, go to your family.

Like if your parents unfortunately had a bad experience with money, you're likely to have that.

Studies show that kids actually get their money understanding up to about eight, can then lay dormant in their behavior.

And once they get to their 20s, it'll come out and they will copy off your parents.

relationship with money right now if you've got kids be aware it's certainly rubbing off on your kids it definitely is um and that's all part and parcel of what the box is is that your experience will have a massive impact on how you see money positively or negatively again it's about coming aware of that i do try and talk in the book about options about how to help you but

I didn't want to go down the path of going, this is the answer to fix that because that doesn't exist.

The only way to fix it is through talking about it.

And communication is the other part of that answer, Kate, to your question.

Talk, absolutely talk.

Talk with your partner, talk with your friend, whoever it is that you feel most open about to talk about these things.

It will liberate your entire ability to deal with money much better if you do have a slight problem with it.

if you can actually talk about it with somebody else because it's something we don't do, particularly men.
