um also contribute which is wonderful and um it it's just kind of grown.
It's our third annual one this year coming up next Tuesday and um we're really excited about I know it's it's one of my favorite nights out of the hockey season um to take some time and and spend some spend some quality minutes with kids um that that don't get these type of opportunities and and get to talk a little hockey with them too.

Um that you can also introduce to the game in a more intimate way and you know I try to take some time to do that as well.

Underprivileged kids or yeah, any time you're talking about underprivileged kids or or giving them opportunities that they normally wouldn't give or get, pardon me, or or visiting hospitals and and seeing sick children and and just trying to brighten up their day.
One, I think it's it's uh it's incredibly humbling.

It kind of resets your mind on
what is important.
Um and I I think, you know, back in the day before I had my own kids, um, that probably you know, I i it was a it was more of a reminder, uh, for me when I would do stuff like that.
Um, you know, now that I have my own kids and and and have worked with some kids and kids with cancer, uh, especially in the community of Edmonton, um, you know, and seen a little bit more often, it it really
puts things in perspective on what truly matters in life and uh you know hockey is uh is very low on that list.
No, I haven't started skating yet.
Uh I'm not uh I'm not exactly sure when that's gonna uh gonna start but but I I think we're a ways away, so
