Um goes back to my mum.

She's a music teacher, retired music teacher now, but probably instilled a love of the musicals and that type of music in us.

I also played in an orchestra, so would have uh occasionally played that type of music.

Clarinet.

Yeah, pretty, pretty difficult.

Pretty hard on the old diaphragm and the old breathing.

Yeah.

I actually fainted during a lesson one time because I was so exhausted and like it takes an awful lot of

Your uh your diaphragm and your breathing and

I could at a push I could probably give it a go.

Yeah, I could probably give it a go.

But um interestingly my clarinet teacher as I fainted held or caught the instrument instead of catching me because it was so expensive.

So I knew exactly where I stood on that occasion.

Um yeah, Le Miz loved the soundtrack.

I would insist on we had a cassette tape of it and I would insist on playing it on long journeys.

And we had plenty of long journeys 'cause my parents neither of them are from Clickenny, so we'd always go to Cavan or go to Waterford.

um visiting cousins and that and so we play Le Miz and I knew all the words and I d probably don't know all the words now but I absolutely loved it.
