So I mean, uh I don't know if I was in Cork that often before I was fifteen, but I do remember myself and my best friend, my next door neighbour, um

Rosemary, we were mad into Oasis and we somehow we got we got tickets, we must have queued up, I can't even remember now, but we would have got them in Kilkenny.

And she convinced her ma'am to bring us, to drive us to Park Equiv, three of us, myself, Rosemary and Ashling.

Um and m I told my parents, Oh yeah, no, Carmel's bringing us, it's all good, it's all kosher, Carmel Carmel is coming to the concert.

I genuinely thought Carmel had a ticket.

Carmel didn't have a ticket, so she drove us to Parky Quive.

We went in, the prodigy were playing before Oasis.

So we found ourselves in the middle of this absolutely mad crowd of older men.

It was mental and I if my parents knew

you know, sending me off to Cork that I was going into what uh Oasis and end up in the middle of um, you know, a mad mosh of prodigy fans, I would definitely would not have been allowed to go.

But I do remember sitting on Randomer's shoulders during the concert and having the absolute time in my life.

Um and yeah, Carmel was out in the car.

She waited to drive us home in the like at dark.

We didn't stay.

Like we got into the car that night and we drove back to Kilkenny and that was grand, and she's my next door neighbour, so I was driven right to my door.

Um I was absolutely brilliant.

But like I found out years, decades later, that my that my future husband was at the gig the same day, the same night.

Um but again, like that's just the echo chamber we all live in as well, isn't it?

Like so many people.

I don't actually know anyone that doesn't like Oasis.
