How are things?
I mean th the defense th th this this is this is the most defense structured team defensive structure team that we've seen here in Seattle in in now five seasons.
Uh you know, this is a team that that Lane Lambert comes in, known for his defensive structure and his attention to detail.
And you're seeing all the guys buy in.
The the vets have bought in, the rookies have bought in
it it is a team commitment to defense and and it's interesting because the Kraken this year they have done a a really good job of shutting down a lot of teams superstars.
You know, I think with the exception of one uh one San Jose game and I think the Washington Philadelphia back to back in in mid October, this Kraken team has really
not allowed the the superstars, the the top talent of the league a whole lot of wiggle room on the ice against them.
And it's that team commitment to defense that has really helped the Kraken, you know, maintain a a playoff spot, stay in the race.
They're getting points in in five out of every seven games.
You know, they're winning three out of every five games.
And and that's the recipe
for success uh for the Kraken this year.
Yeah, you know, it's interesting.
We we in the media cr uh core, we asked Lane every single day it seems, and we've asked players today was Jordan Everly's turn, you know, how can this team get more offense?
And and to a man, you know, they they will tell you we have to shoot the puck more.
Lane Lambert, I think, uh probably gave some of his more uh pointed comments of the season a few games ago and basically he was saying, Listen
I don't know why these guys aren't listening.
