And I thought they were kind to him in the sense he inadvertently, because if you take away the word inadvertently, you're then talking about something else.

The other thing that surprised me was some of his colleagues who play in the PGA Tour said Bryson would never cheat.
Well, nobody mentioned cheating because the word inadvertently is in there.
So I was very disappointed in those who made that comment.
Because nobody suggested cheating.
They just said he improved the backswing line.

Well, that's such a ridiculous statement.
I lost interest in the World Cup football when Balogun, his red card was rescinded because you can't just change the rules as you go through events.
And I was really enjoying the World Cup.
But when that happens, it ceases to become a competition.
So that's my take on Bryson.
The times I've spent with him, he's been gracious, he's been manly.
And that's the good side of him.
The bad side was unquestionably what happened after he went out to the fifth again with the R&A officials.
He should have then accepted it because I do think he was fortunate with the inadvertent word.
Very fortunate.
It was a pity the rough was so singed because the course was played not the way it was designed.
