The first is, why are you here?
And they all said the fuel taxes are just too much.
So this is a tax revolt, sort of like, you know, the Tea Party or the, you know, it's a little bit, I don't want to call it American style because the Irish are rebellious in their own way.
And the second question I asked each one, like these people are blocking major highways, I understand.
So I said to every one of them, what are the cops saying to you?
Every single one said the cops are giving them the thumbs up, not telling them to move.
Now, there have been some incidents where the cops have gotten a little rough.
But in the main, the country is being shut down.
It's almost like a general strike.
Well, Ireland is such a disconnect between the people and the government.
Let me give you three quick examples.
Mass immigration.
I mentioned there's five million people in Ireland.
One million of them are foreign born.
And there's such mass immigration.
It's the fastest mass immigration in the Western world.
Like, it's astonishing.
And that's driven up the price of housing and everything out of reach for the ordinary Irish.
Like most places, mass immigration is deeply unpopular, but both the government and the opposition support it.
So what's an Irishman to do?
