I do not wish the people of Iran chaos, and I do not wish my own people, the Iraqis, further chaos.

I see absolutely no planning for what occurs now that Khamenei is dead.

What is the American plan?

I do not believe there is one.

The Americans planned for almost a year for a post-Saddam Iraq and still got it wrong.

This administration has not spent 24 hours, in my view, from what I understand—

planning for what comes next.

And for Israel's Netanyahu, chaos in Iran is a perfectly acceptable result.

This is my fear.

The Middle East does not need more chaos.

And my fear is that that's what we're on the verge of.

I hope I'm mistaken.
