So, I mean, no one was harder on Caleb than Manny.
But, of course, it's different when you're a kid.
All parents are like that.
I think Manny is comfortable coaching Caleb.
I think that if there's a hiccup on all of this, I think it would be how it impacts Caleb.
And I'm not saying Caleb necessarily doesn't want to be coached by his dad, but that's where it happens, right?
In the group texts, in the locker room, when those conversations are happening on the road, I think it has a chance to affect Caleb.
someone like Caleb more so than it would Manny, because ultimately if Caleb's the third overall pick in the draft, like you understand where those guys trajectories lie and what their timelines look like, right?
Like you take the center, the number one center picked in the draft and he happens to be the number three overall pick, you know, you're projecting that guy eventually to be a first line center, you know, which means in the next couple of years, once he gets out of college, pretty soon he'll be getting a second line center role before eventually he gets elevated.
Like, you know, it's not like this is going to be a fringe player, right?
So that makes it easy for Manny to navigate his path.
But in terms of Caleb and just being that guy, being that regular guy in the room, and your dad's the head coach, it's difficult.
Are you kidding?
I thought you liked me.
I was hard on Luke when, when he played, when he was younger, when he played for me, for sure, because you wanted to make sure that everybody else knew he wasn't getting special treatment.
Right.
So I like been there, but it's different when they're, when they're professionals.
Right.
I mean, the, the math changes entirely when it's now your career and your livelihood.
I think so, right?
