The ultimate goal, right, of blessedness is removed from sharing in the life of God himself or the life of the world to come.
And it's made very this worldly, right?
So it's prosperity now.
And whether it's a mainline liberal Protestant denomination saying prosperity now in the sense of we need to help the poor and raise their standard of living, or whether it's because that's what the gospel is, or it's a prosperity preacher saying,
In a more socially conservative church saying, you know, give your seed and, you know, you'll get back 10 times, you know, the money and you'll have all this, all this, right?
It's taking that and moving it all, right?
Don't build up treasures in heaven, build them up here on earth.
That's sort of the goal, right?
