So yeah, people are pissed and I don't blame them.

That is a great question because, you know, a few years, last summer when the Ducks hired Joel Quinville, they had a, the ownership was there just kind of due to the nature of the hiring process.

And it was pretty rare.

And Henry, Henry Samuel, he said he was loud and clear.

He said that Paverbeak is going to have a blank check to kind of improve this team.

There is no budget.

There are no constraints.

And so on one hand, you know, the ownership has a ton of money and outwardly they say, we're not going to put any restrictions in our GM.

But from what we found out over the last few days is that they don't necessarily like to do signing bonuses or

All the Ducks' big contracts are just there's no signing bonus.

It's just straight salary.

And so despite the fact that they're mega wealthy, despite the fact that they said all this, I actually don't think they're thrilled that Paverbeek is costing them money.

I mean, Paverbeek is directly costing them money now, just the way that this is structured with the signing bonuses.

So that being said, the Samuelis tend to be the kind of ownership group that don't really –

You know, they don't really mingle into the hockey ops.

They don't really have a lot of that.

From my understanding, at least, they're not really present there all that much.

So who knows?

Who knows what they actually think?

But once those checks clear, I think that there will have to be conversations with Paver Beek on that front.
