Appearances
When I look back on it, it was the people who did it with me.
They carried me across the country, you know, and I really did.
You know, the chats along the way and people opened up to me because they obviously knew I had struggles.
So they felt it could open up to me a little bit.
And I absolutely loved that.
And they were the same people I thought didn't want me, love me or value me.
Yeah, yeah.
Because it was such a dark place.
You know, you're only thinking negative.
But when I walked across that country, I was just like, I was at the top of the world again.
It made me feel amazed because, you know, relationships is what binds us.
But it's something we also neglect.
2019.
After that, well, the next big challenge was obviously trying to row across the North Atlantic Ocean with Damien Brown in 2022.
That didn't go so well.
No, it didn't.
In hindsight, you know, I took it on a little bit too early.
Didn't factor in the pain threshold that I would be suffering from as well on top of lack of sleep.
Obviously, the exertion of the challenge, nutrition, you know, all those type of things.
And yeah, but I learned a lot from it.
