Which, by the way, teams can win a lot of ball games with middle of the pack starting quarterback play.
This is the NFL now that's not just, hey, the quarterback that is the best takes his team to the title, right?
I mean, nobody was talking about Sam Donald coming into last season.
There are a number of buyers in the first round, so I do think that helps Ty Simpson's cause.
I do also.
So I think it's easiest to almost address the things that are limitations for Ty Simpson and then revisit and see how many pros there are that would make you consider taking him number one overall.
So the size, Mel, it's not great.
He's like 210-ish pounds maybe for Ty Simpson.
The size is just fine.
Is he this wonderful athlete?
No, is he a good athlete?
Is he a functional athlete?
Yeah, he is.
He actually is a reasonable athlete that can get some stuff done on the move here.
But this is not Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen that totally changes your offense with his legs on top of what he can do with his arms.
The experience, it's a question mark for sure.
The accuracy, Mel, when it's good, when it's cooking,
is really good.
And by the way, early in the season, nobody was talking about some of these concerns.
