I would have assumed at some point it was either deciphered or, you know, through parallel texts where you'd have Ohm and, you know, later written script side by side that we were able to decipher it that way. podcast-host

It's fascinating, I I again in in things that you've written about how it it's been used, like it essentially was never lost and that it was used continuously. podcast-host

And you you referenced that manuscript written in the eighteen twenties in Kerry, which obviously would require an in-depth knowledge of Ohm that continued podcast-host

into the nineteenth century, which is very close to the present. podcast-host

Could you talk then about about that use of OM that it it was obviously a a knowledge of it was maintained podcast-host

Right up into the modern era. podcast-host

That's uh absolutely fascinating. podcast-host

I I think there's a couple of big things that I take away from that. podcast-host

Even the idea that it was created by probably an individual, I think it maybe stands in opposition to a a lot of the time how we look at the early medieval period. podcast-host

And, you know, I think I used to work in archaeology myself and there's a often an avoidance to pin down, you know, there's a lot of talk of process and things like that, but the idea that this podcast-host

you know, by the evidence of it itself, i is possibly the testimony of an individual, which is fascinating to think about about who and why. podcast-host

it it was developed and then even that continuation into the modern era and I suppose arguably today it must be podcast-host

More popular now than it has been in centuries and podcast-host

in y in terms of tattoos and jewellery and things like that, over the last I guess in twenty, thirty years there's been a kind of an explosion of ohm in terms of uh yeah, tattoos, jewellery and decoration. podcast-host
