And like at the time there was Kurt there, it was Chris Daniels, Samoa Joe, like it was, yeah, it was, yeah, it was an incredible roster.

Um, but for me, the idea of leaving new Japan, just, I wasn't ready to leave.

I still like had stuff I wanted to achieve.

So, yeah, I kind of toyed with the idea, but I was never really serious.

All through this period, probably about four years in a row, WWE had approached me.

But I didn't feel like it was the right move because this was kind of, it was still FCW.

It wasn't NXT.

And I felt like I'm not going to fit in there.

I'm still kind of on the rise in New Japan.

I'm still learning.

I'm still getting better.

Why cut my wings off?

So I wanted to stay in New Japan.

And so they kind of came, WWE came knocking maybe three or four times and I turned it down.

But when they finally came when I was like 33, I kind of realized now's the time.

I just wanted to have fun.

And originally Bullet Club was, it wasn't supposed to be Bullet Club.

It was supposed to be just me and Fale.

Like, so I'd been a baby face for like, you know, six years in New Japan.
