My wife and I are co-founders in most of the businesses we do.
We originally started off with a private wealth management firm where we're advising really high net wealth, like older generation on how to exit their businesses, how to structure for tax reason, then actually manage the money.
And I managed a couple hundred million during that period of time.
And then
We also sold that now, and we also had an insurance.
It gets valued on recurring revenue and a multiple of EBIT model.
It's very sad because it's such a good business model because people don't leave you.
No, it's actually not because if you create a good business model, then people are happy with the processes and they end up staying in.
But it's very important when you sell the business on who do you sell to as well.
Got it.
Okay.
And what did you sell that business for?
So we sold that for...
Multiple million.
Not in the eight figures, but in the seven figures.
It was sort of around at the same time.
So this concept has been building for a while.
And last year we launched with sort of proof of concept, just a brand.
And then we've been building it out.
And now we're about to scale.
