You want
like setup, tension, turning points and payoff.
And obviously like you want great access, you know, but like ultimately the structure is the thing that turns footage into like compelling drama.
Well, it worked.
It made golf feel far more human, I think, than technical.
So, like, it was full of personality.
It was like all, you know, they felt the pressure of competitive golf.
And then there was these, you know, insight into private moments.
And I guess stuff that even non-golf fans kind of get hooked and go, oh, look, it's a real human being.
I know from the stats that there was definitely, like, a Netflix bump for the PGA Tour.
So...
The tour released this data afterwards that 63% of full swing viewers watched PGA Tour coverage in the two months after the release, which could be overlapping with existing PGA Tour watchers because inevitably it's a self-selecting group.
So PGA, people who like golf will watch full swing.
But the key stat I thought was that 11% were new or returning viewers who hadn't watched in the previous six months so that there was like a conversion rate.
That's the bear.
