For you, it's the Super Bowl.
This is the big one.
You enjoy these reality TV shows.
You must be fascinated by the idea of a teacher, which you were once a teacher, now a journalist, but a teacher going into the house.
What's interesting for me, Deirdre, is that when we first heard that Sean Fitzgerald, or Fitzy as he now likes to be known in Love Island, was going in there, all the talk was about the fact that he was a Galway footballer.
That he was leaving the county team in the middle of the championship season to go in.
And it's only kind of afterwards...
people like me who are maybe more casual watcher kind of copped on to the teacher thing.
And it's really interesting because we don't expect, and look, I'm 40 years old now, it's a long time since I was in a primary school classroom, but I leave a little kid into school every morning.
And I don't ever think of the teacher as having a life outside that classroom.
I don't think that they have brothers and sisters and parents and worries and nights out and drinks and parties and all the rest of it because actually they just live in that bubble in the classroom and I'm OK with that.
This breaks that kind of fourth wall.
Is it problematic if, and this is an if at this stage, we've only seen a few episodes and he's been relatively well behaved, is that fair to say?
But if it gets a bit more racy, they have to play games, do challenges, as you say, you have to be a little bit outlandish to get the airtime.
So if he has to lean into that for survival, which this show is all about, does that become kind of problematic for parents who are trying to explain what exactly is going on here to kids who, as you say, will find it?
Former Rugby Sevens international player.
As a former teacher yourself, I'm going to ask you the question that a lot of people have said to me, which is we're sitting here.
It's the first week of June.
How does he get off school to go on Love Island?
They're still in the championship.
