I honestly think it is...

The new currency.

I know people talk about authenticity a lot, but that word is getting kind of diluted.

I think the real currency now is people who speak freely.

I'm writing a chapter about self-expression and how self-expression is the alchemy for shame.

Self-expression, authentic self-expression, free self-expression is the alchemy for the shame around being annoying, being too much, being whatever.

Because

It's hard for shame to stick on you if you're moving.

If you're expressing yourself, if you're going, if you're taking these small little leaps, guess what?

It's hard to give a fuck about what other people think about you when you're too busy.

When you're too busy getting better every day, when you're too busy building momentum.
