It's a socially acceptable way for women to like process and regulate themselves when they feel uncomfortable emotions.
So yeah, I am talking about women and women in this scenario.
I realized what if the reason that people like being called annoying or being called
Whatever.
What if it's because it's actually really fucking brave what I'm doing and I have a superpower that not many people are able to tap into?
And it's just like, duh.
Because it's so vulnerable to be me, to do everything that I do.
It's so fucking vulnerable.
It takes a shit ton of courage.
It's easy to play it cool and aloof.
Coolness and like aloofness and sticking to popular opinions and doing things a certain way that it's always been done before protects you socially because you don't take any risks.
But it kills the artist in you.
It kills the part of you that earnest, enthusiastic, expressive fucking child in you.
It silences her and I'm done silencing her.
I am done silencing that vulnerable, enthusiastic, earnest, self-expressive version of myself.
And I decided that I was done with doing that a few years ago.
And I can't go back.
I can't go back to playing it cool.
