Because when he's downhill and like as a blitzer and stuff like that, like he's really physical, strong taking on blocks.
I think he also plays with good pad level when he's taking on blocks.
I think that he closes and blitzes really, really quickly.
He's strong at the tackle point.
He wraps up nicely.
And I think where he gets in trouble, the only real negatives I have with him in the run game is two things.
One, sometimes he can get sucked up too far into gaps too early, and more experienced runners can make him pay for that by sucking him into the wrong gap and then bouncing it outside where he can't catch up.
And other times, he can take some poor tackling angles, which, you know...
As a safety, Giants fans are probably already familiar with safeties that don't take good tackling angles, but he lays the wood going downhill.
So if you're looking for like a depth guy, it really depends on what a team is looking for.
If you're looking for this kind of guy who makes an immediate impact on special teams and stuff like that, and then is a depth role player, you'd probably be tempted to take him more so on the earlier half of day three than the later half of day three.
I could see him not being there in the sixth round for the Giants.
I could see him going in the fifth.
Well, I mean, I think he's somebody that's probably going in the seventh round.
So you're certainly free to make that move right at six foot three.
You know, I certainly think so.
I think his coverage skills are best suited for covering tight ends and in the like in close to the line of scrimmage.
It makes sense, right, to be a sub package coverage linebacker guy.
And he actually looks pretty good in the run game.
I don't think that I have a ton of negatives there.
