I'll I'll share something with you since you've been so open.
I remember
two things.
I was looking at her and she was really
sort of frail and she had fallen and she fractured her neck and was in some discomfort and, you know, she must have weighed, I don't know, n whatever, eighty pounds or ninety pounds or whatever.
And I remember thinking the word that kept coming to me was spent.
This body is spent.
She has
there's a line from
The Psalms I think where it says, you know, God's word does not come into the world without sort of accomplishing what it needs to accomplish, like the rain, and it kind of comes in, it does its thing, and then it goes.
And I remember thinking as I looked at my mom's
you know, body sort of there.
God has sent her into the world, she's done what she's been asked to do, and she's leaving.
That was the first.

was that I imagined all of her relatives at the foot of her bed, her parents, her her two brothers, my father, just like
welcoming her.
And that that that helped me.
Both of those helped me a lot.
You know, that she's she's done.
