It's great to be with you, Jim.

Thank you for joining us.

Greg, you know, I don't know if I've ever told you this.

You're a unique person in my life.

You are both a Jesuit brother and a real hero of mine.

So first of all, thanks for your inspiration for me.

Can we talk about how you got involved in ministry with gang members and former gang members?

So you were pastor of Dolores Mission and then started this as an outgrowth of that.

Is that correct?

Now, is there a certain, would you say, skill set or spirituality that differs from being a parish priest or a pastor and working with gang members?

Were there certain skills you had to develop or spirituality that you had to develop, would you say?

Now, I know you had experience ministering and spending time in Spanish-speaking communities.

Was there a shift that was needed in terms of working with this community that you felt you had to make, or any challenges that you felt that were initially difficult?

I'm curious how you relate this to Jesus's ministry.

Obviously, it's a Christian ministry, but this idea that Jesus goes to the margins.
