I remember your um your experiences of the hidden life and how we spent you know, without breaking too many confidences, how we spent time on that 'cause you liked it so much.
You liked the act of Jesus.
Um you know, had you spent much time thinking about Jesus before the exercises?

hesitating to be your spiritual director, but
end at the end of the exercises I said that the evil spirit is gonna try to get you to doubt this.
That's that's the classic that's the classic uh response to something like that.
Um what has I mean, I can tell obviously a lot has stayed with you.
Um it's been ten years or so since silence came out.
How has the experience of the exercises, would you say
change the way you sort of approach the world.
Well, that's that that's where most of my spiritual directees are, so
And what yet when you do that, can you describe the examine to people and how you do it?
