conversion was real, that I wasn't manufacturing these things, that I wasn't going to be putting the church in a position where it would be challenged by any of my past behaviors or if I was actually willing to move forward knowing that I would have to change my life so dramatically and drastically.
Wow.
They were beautiful people.
Yeah?
Yeah.
But it was the hardest three days of my life.
Even more than my death of my father was hard, but that was a really hard time because God wanted me through my vocation director to lay down everything at the foot of the cross.
So they were asking me specific questions about my history that either I would have to be transparent about or not and live with that the rest of my life.
So these questions were so very confidential but very hard to communicate.
And
I remember.
You're supposed to be.
That's the whole point.
I mean, you're there because they're trying to qualify you for everything.
And so either you give God what you're supposed to give them or you don't.
And I'm not going to be that man that's going to be like that.
And people who know me know me to know that I won't do that.
I've had my hard times in life, but I'm an honest man.
