I was running up against this really popular guy, and he was giving out propeller hats.
And I went to my mom and I said, Mom, I really want to be president of our school, but I'm not that popular compared to this guy.
What could I do?
How could I compete with propeller hats?
Exactly.
And then she told me, she said, okay, here's what you do.
You take your rosary.
You go to the Blessed Virgin Mother, the statue we have in our house.
You kneel in front of her.
You offer her.
You ask for her intercession, but you offer to her that you will do something in honor of her and her son.
And if it is her will and her son's will, that this would be good for your soul.
And good for you.
What a good mom.
That's a great mom.
She said, then she will bless it.
She will intercede for you and acquire it.
So I did.
That was that evening before.
