I'd definitely say injuries are tough for anyone to deal with, especially long-term injuries when you know that you're still far away from being able to go on the pitch and everyone else is going out.
So injuries or illness would definitely be for me personally.
At the moment, I'm just focusing on myself because obviously I've been out for a long time and I want to make sure that I'm doing everything I can to come back to my best.
So right now, every day I wake up and I think, OK, what can I do today that will make me better than I was yesterday or than I was a week ago?
And I think I'm still going to have that mentality until I kind of get back into a rhythm with playing and training with the team.
It's just purely going to be about making myself
better and get to that level that I know I can get to and that everyone you know my club wants me to get back to that level so I think I'm going to have to take a lot of time personally and individually to get there and then when I feel I'm getting myself there then I will be focusing on okay now I'm going to focus on being part of the teams again being part of a Chelsea being part of England but right now for me I need to focus on myself to get myself back to that level.
know you've been through so much what is the one thing you feel like you've learned from yourself through all this i think the biggest thing and i think a lot of people say is just never take things for granted you know for me getting this illness just being able to go for a walk it was just so difficult to be able to get up and make dinner you know so difficult so i think for me it was never take anything for granted and appreciate people that you have around you
i had some amazing people who like i said earlier who messaged me every day who were traveling to come and see me even when sometimes i had my back to them doing a puzzle at christmas you know people were still coming around just to try and put a smile on my face and i will never take that for granted and i appreciate everyone that was there for me and messaging me constantly so yeah
