And it was after that then that the Spice Girls.

Yeah, I went back to college in the early 2000s.

I ended up working as a therapist in the Rutland Treatment Centre and it was there that I saw the family members and the heartache.

While I loved working with those who were trying to get into recovery from addiction,

For me, I really felt I wanted to give something back to the families because the anxiety and the stress and the worry of having somebody you love that has an alcohol, drug or gambling problem can be soul destroying.

So it's only for family members.

So it's not for the person who has the addiction problem.

It's only for family members.

So we have like...

an organisation now where we have one-to-one counselling, we have a 10-week family programme, we have an aftercare programme.

And I absolutely love it.

I don't practice as a therapist anymore, but I still am very involved in the organisation and I love the work.

It's a different version and I introduced the bill eight years ago.
