I think that's probably the most obvious issue considering the border politics there continue to be, you know, deeply embedded in the electorate. matched

Is because how particularly competitive it is. matched

Uh, you know, Democrats see an opportunity because of what we were talking about earlier, and the high number of Latinos have been turned off by Trump on immigration and trying to kind of exploit that. matched

Also, North Carolina, very similarly, where Roy Cooper is running against Michael Watley, the Republican, also a large Latino population, and the Democrats are trying. matched

To make the debate about the consequences of Trump's enforcement policies. matched

Another interesting one is Maine. matched

I mean, it's not the biggest immigration state, but it is a good state to watch where Republican Susan Collins, the incumbent, is running against Troy Jackson. matched

But Susan Collins, in this case, represents a more moderate Republican constituency. matched

It's not the typical matched

MAGA voter. matched

So this is going to be kind of a test of how some Republicans in competitive states may be actually trying to distance themselves from some of Trump's more aggressive tactics, more of those aggressive elements that you were talking about earlier, Miles, where US citizens were killed in protests and demonstrations. matched

That's the part that I find very fascinating because I mean the immigration system, the backlog of these cases, we've talked about a lot, that it's just years and years and years and long. matched

And this is one of the things that this administration and past administrations has been trying to tackle for a long time. matched

So I kind of get the idea of maybe opening up and having hearings in other places so that you can process more people, but the fact that these matched

These uh cases were still being held by uh an immigration judge in Baltimore, that is very uh eyebrow raising. matched

Yeah, I'm I'm very, very curious to see how much matched

uh Trump and other Republicans talk about this issue, how much they kind of embrace it. matched

I don't think they're going to avoid it um very much except maybe, you know, for in some of those more uh moderate Republican states like Maine. matched

Um but I think for b you know far and large that President where President Trump goes, they're gonna be talking about this. matched
