Second point about about your your your point about language in this country.
You know, that actually um fits into our thesis, one of our theses for for Foxmont Fund three pretty well as well.
And and that is that the Philippines is a an interesting place for any regional startup to scale to as their second destination.
Right.
So their home destination is their first destination, whatever they wherever they built their comp uh their company out of.
But the Philippines would be an interesting second place to grow into.
You know, everybody always talks about regional plays, like, oh, we want to invest in a a startup that's gonna go regional.
And we actually believe in Foxmont that the Philippines is is the best place to start going regional because of language, because actually also of a little bit of a a a more uh a cultural cross-section here, right?
You know, many people I I I'm actually not sure I if people know this, but but of course there is a very robust Chinese Filipino population here.
There's a very robust I mean, we are Indos and Malays as well, and we do have that Western tilt, I guess, because of because of uh because of the Americans.
So we have English speakers and and and it it makes a lot of sense to try any sort of app out here or business out here.
I would say it doesn't make sense sometimes if you think about like a business as you t actually to your point, if you think about a business that was built in Vietnam and like they're all speaking Vietnamese, of course, that there's a there's uh obviously a little bit of a Chinese culture kind of connection there.
But it doesn't make sense if they're gonna try to grow from Vietnam to
I don't know, let's call it Indonesia, which is totally different, right?
Totally different language, totally different culture.
But the Philippines actually fills that gap pretty well and helps people f um, you know, figure out their businesses in a in a in a country that has a very good cross-section of cultures.
You know what we've seen as very interesting here in the Philippines is that first mover advantage is is really a thing.
It's really a thing.
Like if you are a first mover in this country, you typically can can win a market, can win this market, right?
I mean, I saw it myself with Grab, right?
