He goes, fuck, come with us, man.

Okay, yep, I'm in, I'm in.

So that was the thing.

Then I moved from Auckland.

So the Samoan coach, Peter Schuster, and he rang up and he said, you know, we need you to be playing –

You know, before we go to the cup, I can't have you just playing club rugby and, you know, a few, you know, Auckland games or something.

But he said, if you're willing, you know, change over to North Harbour and, you know, get some more game time and stuff.

So I did that.

Yeah.

And just all bloody happened from there.

Just all unfolded.

Yeah, yeah.

So our very first game was against Wales at Carter Farms Park.

And that was awesome, you know, because all of those things, you know, for a rugby kid, you know, in New Zealand, and you always watch the All Blacks, you know, get up in the middle of the night and, you know, watch them play Wales and, you know, whoever.

So I was familiar with all, you know, Carter Farms Park and took in them and all of that.

And for us to be playing there –

And the buildup, you know, we were there for a week, maybe a little bit longer actually, training all the time.

And we lost a couple of props early.

So we had to bring in a couple of replacements.

And, of course, we were bloody having a few beers and stuff like that during the week.
