And I'll explain the reason for that is I believe the Canadians and the Canucks had an understanding here for the last couple of weeks as Vancouver was sorting out their situation. matched

And basically the Canadians left it in Vancouver's court, which was, Hey, if you need money to spend, um, and you have to spend to get to the floor and you need all of Gallagher's salary on your books. matched

And that the Canucks went back to Montreal today and said, we're not anticipating a significant spending shortfall. matched

Um, we'd like you to retain past. matched

So with that, that, that tells me that at least in the short term that Pedersen is unlike they're reading the map saying Pedersen is unlikely to go. matched

And that may be their best push was around the draft. matched

And that doesn't preclude a DeBrusque or anything else, but, um, and certainly wouldn't even preclude a Pedersen trade. matched
