But will Dylan Larkin ultimately expand his list if Iserman can't get something done?
I don't think that's outside the realm of possibility for the reason I mentioned.
I mean, it's the market.
I'd sum it up in one word.
It's feasible, right?
It's not going to be teaming, but if you were to have put the Montreal Canadians in this position where they're clearly needing to move on from Brendan Gallagher and he's obviously come around to the idea of it, it would be almost impossible.
You'd be adding a second-round pick at the minimum, maybe even a late first, to move off of that contract.
But now that everyone has cap space, for the most part,
some teams in worse position than others, but particularly in the bottom half of the standings, there's lots of teams that could, that could squeeze it in.
And it might even be beneficial from a getting to the floor perspective.
So I don't, obviously the Canadians aren't going to, there's not going to be a bidding war for his services, but from a leadership perspective, from a cap perspective, like if Montreal called Vancouver or vice versa, uh,
and Vancouver is really trying to reinvent their culture, as has been the big buzzword since the regime change, I mean, I can't really think of a better guy to do it that's not going to cost you anything except dollars that you have to spend anyway.
Yeah, that's not going to happen.
I mean, look, I don't think there's going to be a bidding war.
Let's put it that way.
