I think the most interesting thing to figure out as a, as a reporter is like where, who's the point person.

Right.

I mean, the thing is like typically when there's multiple people at the top of an organization, you know, you just for consistency sake as a team, and I'm not saying me, like you want to make sure that that message is consistent.

And so part of it is relationships.

Part of it is,

you know, making sure that you're getting to the right person.

And so when that happens, just to be totally transparent from my end, when you have a big change like the Canucks did, it typically takes a few weeks for a lot of that to settle in.

So my read on it would be that there probably isn't a whole lot of talking being done by anyone.

I think there's some teams that most people don't even bother with.

Right.

Like one would be the Detroit Red Wings.

I don't think a lot of people spend time trying to crack Steve Iserman, for instance.

Yeah, it's just not even worth the effort.

So they just move on.

Lou Laborello's teams are always like that.

Like it was, well, you can guess and you can try and piece things together.

I think the thing that people I'm sure realize, but don't always connect the dot is there's just so many other ways, even if the people in charge aren't talking to, to find out information.

I mean, you've got players, players have agents,

Players have families, friends.

They have friends around the league.
