I'm doing stuff with the family.

But there's a part of you that says, I don't want to be too far away from my phone.

I want to check because I could hop on Twitter and see an absolute bombshell of a trade at any given moment.

And that's what it felt like for at least a week, maybe a little bit more.

So it was an exciting time in the league where no games were actually being played.

It's such a weird thing, and you know what?

It's a really good question because it feels like when it gets to that point, how do you go back?

People obviously both ways have said things that didn't leave the other side feeling great, and it's like it probably starts to get personal at that point.

You're like, how do you possibly come back from it?

And I don't know if you guys have experienced this in your own careers or personal lives, but I know there's been conversations that I've had in hockey where –

whether it was with a teammate or a coach or whoever, it kind of gets to that point.

And then when you talk a little bit more, it's like everyone lets their guard down and you feel free to like say stuff and digest stuff and there's no more judgment involved.

There's no more being offended and you actually get somewhere.

And on the other side of that is like, it feels like there's a real understanding and respect, but you got to get through.

It feels like a category five hurricane in order to get to that point.

And I feel like that's probably what's happened here with the Wierenski thing and the Columbus Blue Jackets.

I don't think there's a guarantee still that he stays there past that contract, but at least they're at the point where it's like, okay, everyone said what we needed to say, and we're probably better off for it now.

And it's easier to digest coming back and play.

Yeah, and I know that's another name that... Listen, I think there's an element to this where players can't control if their names are out there because there's some greasy stuff that happens behind the scenes.

I wouldn't be surprised if every once in a while there's a power broker agent that sees a player who's involved with someone else and somehow says, yeah, that guy's involved in trade talks, and now that player might have a little bit of...
