But the big question I had was like, Chicago needs help for sure.
Chicago needs forwards.
Like they need forwards to play with Conor Bedard, like highly skilled forwards.
And I get it.
Bowen Byram's a good defenseman up in the rush, all that kind of stuff skates with the puck, but like Chicago,
it felt like that was an area where they were really building it right on the back end, um, with guys like Vlasic and Kaiser and, you know, Lev Shanoff has to take another step, but, um, you know, the crevier kid is, is massive who goes the other way.
I was, I was just, I thought if you were going to expend that, spend that asset, you were going to bring back a difference making forward to play with Conor Bedard, not a defenseman.
Well, you know what's crazy about this is San Jose is going to have two drafts in the last three years.
So this one in two years ago where they're going to draft potentially like a franchise slash superstar forward and then possibly like a top pair defenseman because they had Celebrini Dickinson two years ago.
Of course, they drafted Misa second overall last year.
And now this year there's a world where they're going to go Stenberg and
Is it going to be Rudolph, Verhoff, Smits?
That's what you're talking about.
Talk about team building through the draft.
San Jose has been given a glorious opportunity to hit on some guys here, and that could be the core of their team moving forward.
Pretty crazy that that's the spot that they're going to be in.
Mike Greer, as far as rebuilds go,
We'll see what the finished product looks like, but he's doing an unbelievable job.
Yeah.
You know what the difference is?
