they don't do a man-to-man first.
It's like a hybrid where if they don't kill the play within a certain amount of time and things get rolling around, that's when the man-to-man triggers.
If they can find a way to get you back into the corner, they're going to get back into their zone layers thing.
And then if they can't kill it again, then you see the carousel start.
And I would imagine that's something that might look different next season.
Because if you want to start going from man to man to zone and just flip a switch and do it, you're going to get exposed even more because you're going to have guys half in, half out, thinking about it.
Oh, I forgot.
Where do I go here?
It's not instinctual.
But when you do it right from the get-go and you say, this is what we're doing the entire season, then it's instinctual.
And that's where Caroline is at.
That's where Montreal is at.
But Caroline is executing at a higher level.
I think that's just sometimes the reality you have to grapple with.
Also, I know that games have looked how they've looked.
They look lopsided, right?
A hundred percent.
And that's a big reason why they're in the games.
But there's also something to be said for like, these guys have been one shot away.
