A couple of years retired.
He's had to step into this breach, not of his own volition, I'm sure.
But Dublin are definitely suffering.
And I thought it was really damning, the piece that CiarΓ‘n Whelan highlighted on the Sunday game show last night.
Not just some of the kick-out stats, but they had footage from behind the goals of multiple Dublin kick-outs.
all going to the same spot.
But for one of them, or if not two of them, virtually every defender was walking out with his back to the keeper as Comerford was preparing to take his kick out.
And I think apparently he only went short with two of them.
That seems to tally with my own kind of memory of the game.
So they weren't looking...
to stem the bleeding on their own kick-out by doing something different.
And a lot of that, I think, has to come back to coaching.
It's one of the most fundamental areas of the new game and the new rules.
You have to be able to find a way to keep your own kick-out when the pressure is on.
And that's one of the reasons why they lost yesterday.
