I think it's just you really never know how the board's going to work, right?
And I think that's the great unknown and the thrill of drafts is sometimes you end up in positions that you least expect.
And so it's entirely possible that the Canucks have a wide-open board that might have Caleb Malhotra available and he's number one on their list.
Or they might have someone on their board that's ahead of them that is a whole lot less of a thing to manage and navigate.
And who knows?
Like, why say anything today?
