I just think there's a fair equivalency chart that needs to be put into place.

I was incorrectly quoted from some publication somewhere that made its rounds on social media saying that I had set an asking price or Detroit had set an asking price.
I don't think it's gotten that far yet.
They're just finishing up their Calder Cup playoffs, and they've been in a spot where I think some over-seasoning is probably the best way to describe how they've managed their first-round pick in Sebastian Cosa, who has now been pretty clearly passed on the depth chart by Postava and Trey Augustine.
Yeah, and the Oilers could use a few of those and might even be able to even look at the coaching ranks and determine a distressed asset or two, like Mike Babcock, for instance, that I think you have to consider.
And this is not a COSA question, but this is a larger question that I think we could have a field day over if we had...

Well, if you want to use the limited assets that you have to go out and get a guy that can play goal for you in two years.

And I'm not saying park everything else in the middle term and long term, but you only have so many assets that for this team and this moment in time, the only thing that matters is this one all-important season, which could be the last of Conor McDavid and Edmonton.
