So Ozzie and I talk about it all the time, but I think it made me a better man.
It made me a better person, better man.
And that next year I went to Oakland, healed.
I was able to do that because that year I helped coach, and I helped coach a lot of young kids.
I helped get them better.
Extra BP every day.
We're out there working on things.
Nick Swisher, he couldn't hit a changeup.
You know, I would get him out there early, make him hit every ball over the shortstop head, and before long he was starting hitting changeups.
And, you know, not trying to pull a yank.
He was starting to get line drives, hit 33 home runs that year.
So, like I said, I watched these guys.
I had a lot of fun with those guys.
And 2005 was really maturing and growing up for me.
Oh, yes, he is.
Yeah, I'm coaching him.
He's getting all of it.
Yes, he is.
I help other kids around if they want it.
But I'm saying he's the one that's getting โ Day-to-day basis, yes.
