Uh it's this article says that the bishops and the laity are drifting apart.
But really, it's the bishops who are drifting away from common sense and drifting away from Catholicism itself.
That's why they're so far we're so far apart when from them.
And I also agree with you, this is an interesting article at the Washington Post because I think of them as sort of like deep state central.
