I don't want to be always on the verge of maybe not making it.
And my parents have an amazing marriage now and have fought so hard for it.
And it's beautiful to watch them kind of, in the past five years, they've really become best friends.
And God has really redeemed so much.
And it's so inspiring.
And it's definitely expedited my healing as an adult, even now.
Like watching them go after their hearts and go after each other.
But anyway, my view of marriage, I was really scared of it.
And my husband is just amazing.
And it's been incredible.
And I think I've seen like, wow, this is really like God's intent for things is so amazing.
And that kind of has helped shape my view of the church even where I was pretty like.
gun shy with the church for a long time and now realizing how much better marriage is I've kind of almost been like I wonder if the church is like that too so I've kind of like been creeping up in a church lately like maybe this is awesome and I'm like whoa actually I think I'm finding this is like really really great you know and then like my pastor is like the most gentle kind like
awesome guy and i'm like whoa like you're so chill and like this is great like a community of people that just want to help each other i'm like that's the coolest thing ever you know and yeah i can go so haywire like as we've both seen and you've seen and um but i think when it's good it's awesome and that's the thing of like god's original tent and then we just as humans you know but i think sometimes we blame god for things that he is like it's like guys guys y'all are just messed up down here

man from whether it comes to songwriting whether it comes to marriage and conflicts whether it comes to is this the church like how do how do you hear from god how does that work for you yeah that's such a good question i mean when i was learning about that i read this book by lauren cunningham who founded why women's and i just bring up why women a lot because that was foundational to me there's so many other amazing things and also
people have had bad experiences with YWAM.
So I want to speak to that.
My experience was really great, but I acknowledge there's pain there for some people.
