Information technology is just feeding our minds, our neural nets with more information than we can possibly process.

We get text messages, we get email, DMs, news feeds.

We're drinking from not just one fire hose, but several fire hoses.

So that alone can create cognitive overload and overwhelm.

And so if you're feeling overwhelmed, it's not you, it's literally future shock.
