And God bless Ryan, it took him a year to draw
this issue that was called the All Lawsuits Special that focused on uh, you know, the main ones we focused on were D C suing Fawcett over Captain Marvel in the fifties.
That's a very famous
Story where the idiot judge said Captain Marvel was a ripoff of Superman, and so basically they stop Fawcett.
That's what killed Captain Marvel.
And um that was what led to Miracle Man.
Oh right.
Because the British publisher was like, Fuck it, I'm gonna keep doing Captain Marvel comics anyway.
He just changed it into Marvelman's.
That's where Marvelman comes from in the UK was because
If you were in another country you could get away with that in those days because you get on a boat and go over and yell at 'em, you know.
Uh and uh uh th but then the main the lead story was Jack Kirby's battle with Marvel
over um the possession of his art in the eighties.
Right.
Uh unfortunately that book came out just as the Kirby Ayers started to sue Marvel.
