I believe this concept dated to ninety eight, and the thing that kept it from being a movie so long was the Will Smith Wild Wild West movie.

And then this whole controversy came up, I think, because what ended up happening was Entertainment Weekly got the wrong diamond list, like like the like the and so they they listed

Cowboys and Aliens is this big selling comic.

And all the other publishers freaked out.

And uh they they called BS.

I believe that they got a list of units shipped, not units sold, and that was where

from.

That's th that's it's ironic you bring that up because part of the reason

uh they gave it to me at Marvel was because the c that Jack Kirby comic ended up in the Hollywood Reporter.

Oh That's why I got fucked.

If Harlow Reporter had not done that story, probably everything would have been fine and I don't know.

And then they would have just fired me for not doing New Warriors.
