Appearances
It was kind of rocky a little bit.
And then something just clicked where it was on, I think, a Sunday night or a Monday night game against Seattle at home.
And I had my first two career sacks against Russell Wilson, who at the time was the hardest guy to get on the ground.
I had two sacks against him, punched the ball out in prime time.
We didn't end up winning that game, but me making those type of plays, it kind of let me know, all right, boom, I'm finding my groove now.
And I went on to win November's Defensive Player of the Month and stuff like that.
But
Um, it kind of just started to like instill that confidence in me of like, okay, I can do this.
Yeah.
Yeah, no, we were down 17-0 to start the game and just wasn't looking good.
And so I was like, I remember being in the box because the reason why I was in the box in the first place was because we talked about it with the staff, like the training staff before the game.
And they're like, to give you the best chance to have a good training session going into tomorrow to ultimately have a chance of playing in the game
The next Sunday, if we win, you need to be in the box because if you're on your feet the whole game, your ankle is probably going to blow up, swell up, all this kind of stuff.
So I'm like, all right.
And so I'm up in the box.
We're watching.
We're right there in the corner of the end zone where Rasheed Shaheed returns his kickoff return for a touchdown.
And I'm sitting there like, oh, great, great way to start the game.
And it kind of just was not going our way early on.
They're playing to their crowd, the momentum of the crowd.
